U/14A WHITE
McDuffie was born in Lake Wales, FL but was raised in Tampa, FL. Over the past 28 years McDuffie has had a chance to play/coach with some of the best in the Tampa Bay Area. He has been coaching at AdventHealth Center Ice for the past three years, taking the U14/16 Pucky Charms rec/tournament team to several championships. This will be his second year coaching the U14A Tampa Bay Crunch.
U12/14 Girls head coach
Folch has over 20 years of hockey experience including prep school hockey at Tilton School in New Hampshire, as well as 4 years of NCAA Hockey at The University of Southern Maine. Her strong coaching skills, athletic background and years of playing experience has given her the ability to develop players both on-and-off the ice. Folch currently coaches, runs hockey camps and offers private lessons.
U16/18 Girls
Coach Poznan’s hockey career has taken him from 10-years playing in the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL). To four years playing in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Major Junior. Poznan also played four years during college in Buffalo, NY, as well as 12-years of playing recreational hockey.
Poznan has achieved Level 4 USA Hockey Coach, including 15-years coaching hockey: CT, NY, NJ, FL (beginner, co-ed, girls U19 travel). Coach Poznan is also a physical therapist specializing in injury rehabilitation. Poznan is most proud of being a dad of two hockey playing daughters!
U16A White
Karch has been coaching youth hockey for 16-years with a level four certification. He started as an assistant coach when his oldest son started playing hockey in Michigan for the Kensington Valley Hockey Association. They moved to Milwaukee, and Jerry became a travel hockey head coach for the Waukesha Warhawks, where both of his sons played. Karch moved to Tampa in 2014, he was a head coach in the AdventHealth Center Ice rec league for several seasons. Last year he was an assistant coach for the U14A Crunch. In addition, he has been involved with coaching youth baseball and lacrosse.
U12A White
Coach Blatt is a career Army Special Forces Officer who has been playing this great game for over 45 years. This includes a bit in college during his Freshmen year at West Point. He has continued playing, coaching, and even officiating during his 32-year Army experience. As a Green Beret, Coach Darren has seven deployments to Afghanistan, the most recently as the Commander of the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force – Afghanistan (CJSOTF-A).
Coach Blatt has been married to his wife Suzanne Strulowitz for 21 years and have 3 kids: 17, 15 and 12. The oldest plays U18 AAA travel at Tahoe Prep and the youngest plays on the U12 Crunch White. His middle child does FFA. Although new to coaching this team with the Crunch, Darren is not new to coaching or the Crunch.
Last year he coached the U12 Blue Crunch team that won the state season title. This season he is excited to work with an outstanding group of on-ice coaches. Coach Darren also looks forward to working with a motivated group of individuals on the U12 Crunch White.
U14AA
Scoby grew up in the Tampa Bay area, where he played youth hockey at multiple levels; he went on to play in the New England Prep School League. He has coached travel and high school hockey in the area for the past six years. He lives in the Wesley Chapel area with his fiance and dog. John is looking forward to being a part of the Crunch family this year.
U12A Blue & U16A Blue
Luke grew up playing most of his hockey career in Florida until moving to New Brunswick, Canada at 18 to play Junior A in the CJHL. Before that he played for the Tampa Bay Juniors, and after went on to play NCAA D3 at Anna Maria College in Massachusetts. Luke is now in his 2nd year as a head coach of the Tampa Bay Crunch.
U10 A Head Coach
Coach Cantele has been involved in ice hockey as a player/coach for over 30 years. He has played at a variety of different levels, including travel and college hockey. Cantele has coached youth travel and rec players for 11-years. He enjoys teaching this great game to kids and he hopes they have as much fun playing it as he did. He gets excited about seeing the kids develop their hockey skills through hard work and practice.
Cantele has lived in the Tampa Bay area for over 20-years. He has been married to his wife Melissa for 20-years. They have two sons, Logan (14) and Luke (10). He is currently certified as a Level 4 USA Hockey Coach.

U12 A White, U16 AA Head Coach
Nicklas Lindberg was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. He comes to us with a lot of hockey experience. He has played professional hockey in Europe and North America for 15 years as a playmaking forward.
Coach Nick has years of experience in skills-training. He has been coaching and running camps in both North America and Sweden. Nick now works with player development which ranges through amateur, junior, college and pro level. Coach Nick has most recently worked with the Tampa Bay Lightning of the NHL.
10U AA head coach
Coach Stan Neckar was a former Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman. As a first-round draft pick, coach stan played four seasons for the Lightning. He also played for the Ottawa Senators and Nashville Predators.
Youth Hockey Development coordinator / 10U AA Assistant coach
Born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida , Nick grew up playing travel hockey and Junior hockey in South Florida. Nick was able to leave South Florida to play NCAA Division III hockey for Post University in Connecticut. After some time up north, Nick returned to the Sunshine State and graduated from the University of Central Florida majoring in Human Communications with a Minor in Sports Business. Moving to Tampa just over a year ago, Nick has joined AdventHealth Center Ice as the Youth Hockey Development Coordinator and Assistant Coach for the 10U AA Tampa Bay Crunch.
