Our Offensive Skills Clinic is run by coach Eliot Bergbauer. You will work on the offensive side of stick handling, shooting, passing and game scenarios. Players must have successfully passed both hockey 101 & 201 in order to participate in the clinic.
A Florida native, Eliot grew up playing hockey here until 15 years old, then moved to Canada. He played for a variety of teams from high school all the way to the QMJHL for the Moncton Wildcats. Eliot was very fortunate to be coached throughout his whole career by former NHL players and coaches, giving him a tremendous depth of knowledge of the game. Now retired from professional hockey, he still has love and passion for the game and has decided to take a step into the coaching world to help make other young Floridian’s dreams of playing professional hockey come true.
This clinic will help players understand the importance of proper techniques such as edge work, balance, and strides while developing power and strength to maximize their ability on the ice.
Coach Stan Neckar was born and raised in Czechoslovakia where he playedmost of his youth hockey. By the time Stan was 17 years old, he was invitedto play for Czechoslovakia U20 World Junior Championship team where he brought home a bronze medal. Shortly after that, Stan was able to bringhis talents to North America to join the NHL. During his tenure within the league, Stan played for the Ottawa Senators, New York Rangers, Phoenix Coyotes, Nashville Predators, and the Tampa Bay Lightning. During his playing career, Neckar won a Bronze at the World Juniors, a World Championship Gold Medal with Czechia, played ten seasons in the NHL and won a Stanley Cup Ring back in 2004.

Natalia Zagorodnikova is a native of Moscow, Russia, where she spent her youth skating and training in the rink of Moscow’s premier hockey club, CSKA. Following her competitive career, Natalia decided to bring her experience and knowledge of skating technique to ice hockey, “the greatest sport on earth”. Natalia went on to work with Finnish and Russian NHL prospects and players, as well as women of both the USA and Finnish National Olympic Teams. Natalia has developed and perfected new teaching methods with a unique approach based on research in neuroscience and biomechanics.
