AdventHealth Center Ice is not only a place for young athletes to learn how to place ice hockey; it is also a place where adults can get back into the game they once loved or for new adult players to learn the game. We other a variety of Adult Hockey Programs that serve all skill levels.
Our in-house Adult Hockey program has several divisions based on the players skill level. We have a Beginner League, D League, C League and a A/B League.
This program is designed for players that are learning to skate and to have limited knowledge of the fundamentals of the game such as positioning, rules and team concepts. The league consists of one game and one practice (for an additional cost) with coaches, each week.
This program is designed for new players that have progressed through the Beginner League and have newly gained knowledge of the fundamentals of the game, such as, positioning, rules and team concepts. The league consists of one game and one practice (for additional charge), with coaches, each week.
Recreational & Beginners. A league for the intermediate player wanting to enjoy the recreational experience of ice hockey. Players have a moderate knowledge of the game.
Intermediate & Recreational. This league is designed for players that have a general knowledge of the game with moderate ice skating and puck handling skills.
Advanced Players. This is a mid-level league for semi-advanced players with substantial hockey abilities, knowledge, and experience that are looking for high-level competition.
This clinic is for all skills levels of the adult league. Players will work on the fundamentals of skating, shooting, and passing to learn the game to is fullest.
Full Team Registration (Captain’s Pick): Teams must be formed in advance and register as a complete team up front. The captain will notify the Hockey Director of their intent to register a full team and will be able to invite their players to register and pay independently towards the team balance.
Team Subs will register themselves. Team Subs will register online by selecting Join Team and entering the Team Code provided by the Captain. They will accept the AHCI Waiver, enter their current USA Hockey #, and pay the fee assigned to them by the Captain.
