From state-of-the-art equipment to the most intricate building details, AdventHealth Wesley Chapel was designed from the ground up to maximize healing, patient care, and wellness.

Since opening in October of 2012, the hospital has been recognized as a leader in patient satisfaction, quality, and safety, earning national recognitions including, being the only hospital in Tampa Bay to receive a 5-star CMS ranking in 2020. The hospital offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient health services, including surgery, imaging and rehabilitation services, emergency services for adults and children, and Inspiration Place, a comprehensive women’s health center that incorporates female physician specialists, women’s imaging, pelvic floor, and female physical therapy and a boutique spa. In addition, the hospital opened in January 2018 an offsite 24 bed, 24/7 emergency room in Central Pasco to better serve the emergency health needs of residents in west and central Pasco.

In 2021, the hospital opened a new 100,000 square foot medical office building on campus, a new Oncology unit with 24 in-patient rooms, and two new Operating Rooms. The hospital features a 50,000 sq. ft. community fitness, Wellness Center.

Ice Hockey Instructor

AHCI is a leading provider of hockey development programs. We are currently seeking passionate and experienced on-ice hockey instructors to join our team in two key areas, lead instructors and instructors. As a Lead on-ice instructor, you will be responsible for running camps, clinics, and full-ice team practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in on-ice skill development coaching, with a deep understanding of what skills to teach players at various levels of proficiency. We are also looking for support on-ice instructors who would be responsible for executing skill & drill instructions, ability to teach specific hockey skills and be able to work well independently.

Rink Operations Technician I

Part-Time

Under the supervision of the Director of Facilities Operations, this position contributes to the maintenance of the ice rinks and the facility with a focus on maintaining the ice quality

Rink Operations Technician II

Full-Time

Under the supervision of the Director of Facilities Operations, this position contributes to the maintenance of the ice rinks and the facility with a focus on maintaining the ice surface quality and depth.

Rink Ambassador

Part-Time

This individual is responsible for providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all customers participating in Public Skate, Learn to Skate, Birthday Parties, and Private Parties at AdventHealth Center Ice. He or she must understand all rules and responsibilities of maintaining a safe ice environment. This individual must be willing to enforce rules and take appropriate steps to correct the situation, including asking an individual to leave the ice surface. This person must be trained on all basic first aid procedures (training provided by AHCI). He/she must be customer focused and friendly. They must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.

Guest Services Associate

Part-Time

Under direction of the AHCI Guest Services Manager, Front Desk Associates will be responsible for customer service and POS operation at the front desk. Duties will include Active Network registrations, admissions, and memberships, etc.

Events Host

Part-Time

The Events Host provides friendly customer service through the implementation of hosting individual birthday parties and other events, including distribution of rental skates, interaction with parents and children and serving of food & beverages.

FACILITY RULES

PARKING LOT Rules

Parking is not permitted under the awning in the drop-off zone. Vehicles left unattended may be towed.
Parking/public access is not permitted on the service road on the west side of the building. Vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense
Vehicles double parked in bus/RV parking spots may be towed.
RV parking is not permitted overnight and is only permitted during facility hours in designated spots.
Tailgating is strictly prohibited in parking lot areas for the safety of patrons & drivers.

Building rules

Public entry to and egress from the building is through the front lobby doors only
No smoking within 50 feet of the building. Dispose of butts responsibly.
Children under the age of 14, when not skating, must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the entirety of their visit to AHCI. This is for the safety and security of all patrons.
Ball hockey, football, or other forms of horseplay are prohibited inside the facility and damage fees will be assessed to offending parties.
Alcohol is to be consumed within AHCI building doors. Outside alcohol is prohibited and will cause the offending patron's removal from the building at the discretion of the AHCI management and security teams.
Unruly or intoxicated guests will be removed from the facility for the comfort and safety of all patrons.
Outside food & beverage should not be consumed within facility per posted signage. Animals are not permitted inside AHCI unless designated as a service animal. Unruly animals will be asked to leave the facility with their owners at AHCI management and security's discretion.
Patrons and spectators are not allowed in prohibited areas, not limited to but including the areas surrounding and inside the rink garages.
Excessively loud noisemakers or audio devices are prohibited and will cause the offending patron's removal from the building at the discretion of the AHCI management and security teams.

About Us

The Coolest place in Wesley Chapel, FL

AdventHealth Center Ice is the largest ice sports facility in the Southeast! With over 150,000 square feet under our roof, our five-rink complex includes three North American standard National Hockey League (NHL) ice rinks, one Olympic/International standard ice rink, and one mini-rink. Each of the NHL rinks can be converted to a dry floor.

We host some of the region’s largest sporting events and offer our community a variety of programs that suit all ages. Programs range from ice hockey and figure skating to curling and private events. We are home to the USF club hockey teams, two USPHL hockey teams, 16 youth travel hockey teams, 12 high school teams, 22 youth rec level teams, over 100 adult rec hockey teams, the largest learn-to-skate program in the state, national and regional figure skating competitions, and a host of freestyle figure skaters at various skill levels. Additionally, we host more public skate sessions per month than any other facility in Florida. Most of our programs are sanctioned or governed by USA Hockey or US Figure Skating and all our employees are SafeSport and/or SafeSkate certified.

OUR POLICIES

PARKING POLICIES

General Parking

Please park only in designated parking spaces. If our parking lot is full, it is permissible on weekdays after 5:00pm and on Saturdays and Sundays to park in the lot for the building to the east of our facility.

Visitors are responsible to ensure their vehicle is locked at all times when unattended. AHCI is not responsible for the loss of personal property or damage to vehicles.

Overnight Parking

No overnight customer parking is allowed. Vehicles found in the parking lot between the hours of 1:00am – 6:00am are subject to towing. If you have a mechanical issue with your vehicle or are unable to drive and you cannot remove your vehicle from the lot, follow this procedure:

1. If the front desk is open, please alert the customer service staff of the situation. They will take your contact information and provide you with a placard to leave on your dashboard to avoid towing.
2. If our front desk is not open, please leave a note on the dashboard with your name and phone number to alert our staff, then make arrangements to have the vehicle removed at your earliest opportunity.

RV Policy

RV Parking is no longer permitted at our facility. There are numerous RV sites located within an 8-mile radius of the facility.

Main Entrance Parking

Parking or leaving vehicles unattended at the entrance is prohibited as this is a posted Fire Lane. Vehicles parked here May be towed. This area may be used for drop-off and pick-up only.
